The President takes his monthly look at club activities
For me its been a strange Rotary month. Two Bank holidays and two meetings that I missed. While I was walking in , the club visited the Green Dragon to see the ongoing refurbishment. I gather it was interesting. While I skived off to to experience the atmosphere of the Champions League final (with the wrong result), the club had a very pleasant, and almost rain free lunch at Richard and Heather’s. We did have a Rotary Affairs as well.
Of course, May was the Duck Race, but I covered that last time. We did have a good Friday meal – Greek at the Litchfield Vaults. Good turnout and great food. Another event was Bohemian Rhapsody in Ross. Great package – lunch, film in comfort and afternoon tea.
Looking forward, we have Putting at Wormsley on Monday; Club Assembly on the 17th and Handover on 24th. Bobbie’s Concorde trip is on Friday 21st. Then: -
