Proposals for Rotary year 2019-2020

Plans for the year ahead . . .

The Committee continues to support on an annual basis

1. High School prize for Modern Studies

2. Medals for the Inter-Primary Schools Swimming Gala

3. Hawick in Bloom

4. Rotary Competitions for High School Students: Young Artist, Young Chef, Young Musician, Young Photographer

5. Rotary Young leaders Award - sending a High School Student for a week-long training camp in July

It is anticipated that funds raised at the proposed quiz to take place in February 2020 will be donated to support the Cycling Without Age project for a trishaw in Hawick. A battery for the trishaw costs in the region of £500. The trishaw itself will enable users to access the facilities of the public park and gardens.

Funds currently held on account will be carried forward for the above purpose.
