The Birthday Bash

The club celebrated its 72nd birthday with a social evening, to which partners were invited. President Grant provided a birthday cake, and Bill McLaren, from the well known Forfar bakers, who was our speaker, brought the surprise present of a Birthday Bridie. Bill talked about his company, from its founding in 1893, to the present day. Much has changed, but the excellent quality of the bridies has not. Bill is a skilled baker, and showed photos of the wedding cake he had baked and iced for his daughter.
