The Academy of St Nicholas, along with Partner Organisations such as Onward Homes, South Liverpool Housing, the Police Service and the Fire Service, is organising a large scale Community Event called the “South Neighbourhood Day”, on Friday 26th July. The event will be opened by the Lord Mayor around 12.00 noon and we aim to have the event close around 16:00. We are looking to attract approximately 500 to 600 people to the event and aim to have a variety of community based Organisations and Local Authority groups providing information services and / or interactive fun activities that cover all age groups. The last time this event took place was in 2017, it was a great success and benefited the local community greatly. The themes for this year’s event are:-
· Health and Wellbeing
· Poverty to Employment
· Fire Prevention
·
Police Services in tackling Crime
