Rebekah Kenny studied Textiles, performing arts and Photography at the Sir John Deans College Northwich for the past two years and took up the role of Sir John Deans Rotary Interact President for 2018-19.

In her year as president the interact club organized various fund raising events and took part in many activities including the Annual Northwich Rotary Bonfire evening on Verdin Park Northwich.

Rebekah and the interact club decided that the funds raised should go to a worthy cause the homeless charity “Share”

This charity supports the homeless in Chester and is involved in the surrounding areas, they also are involved in refugee aid. The Charity has many successes in reintegrating the homelessback into society with jobs, living accommodation and helping in efforts to support the homeless.

In Chester they have a homeless hub which allows the homeless on the street with somewhere to go for clean cloths, towels, facilities for a shower and fresh food. There are strict limits where the hub is only open from 10am until 1pm each day to receive help with any issues the homeless may encounter.
