On Thursday 8th August 2019 President Ewen Macdonald welcomed 17 Cub Rotarians to this lunch time meeting held in the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes.

On reception was Peter May with IPP Anne Sampson saying grace.

Today was a day of fellowship with our members catching up for the first time after the three-week break where we participated at a BBQ held by Walter Fletcher and visited the Honeypot creative café at South Queensferry and then last week the barn on the loch at Kinghorn.

Brian Johnson had uplifted the painted pottery and a presentation was made to the top three “art works” with Chris Grist in 1st place, Brian Johnson second place and Steve Grist in third place.

Geoff Sampson mentioned about this year’s Gavel and those present agreed to participate again this year. This years PP Dinner is in the process of being booked but dates are a bit of a problem, Our REYA fundraising meal has been moved to25th November 2019,

Wilna Roger mentioned about the name change of the Fife association of Rotary Clubs to Rotary in Fife,

PP Anne Sampson mentioned that the club had gained charity status and that all paperwork and new accounts would reflect this.

This coming week Thursday 15th August 2019 will give members the opportunity of hearing an update from Walter Fletchers on the Accounts from last year and a monthly report from Council.
