Northwich River Festival

Sat, Jul 20th 2024 at 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

An annual extravaganza featuring Dragons Boats, Pirates, Fun Fair, Duck Races and much, much more. A family, fun event raising money for charitable causes.

Along with many other events organised by Northwich Rotary it has unfortunately become necessary to cancel the 2021 River Festival. Given the uncertainty of the current Covid 19 situation we do not believe it will be possible to reschedule the event this year and instead we will work towards delivering the 2021 event.
We are sorry that it has come to this, but as you will understand it is out of our control. Our sympathies are with those families directly impacted by the virus and the businesses that are suffering the impact of social controls; it is a difficult time.

As a reminder of better times, last year a record 22 dragon Boat teams took part.  Four capsizes occurred during the day but luckily the only damage was to the paddlers pride.

The winners were the Morribobers from Morisons Gadbrook.

Second the I paddlers. Concise technologies

Third The DCC Dragons. From Davenham Cricket Club.

Saturdays Rotary Tombola raised £382.00

Sunday Teddies tombola Raised £172.00.

Scouts raft Race 9 teams took part.
