Coventry Boys' and Girls' Club - Paul Williams

An encouraging expansion.

On Tuesday 13th August 2019, President Philip Jackson welcomed to the Club, Paul Williams, the Financial Director of the Coventry Boys' and Girls' Club who gave a talk on the charity.  The Club was established about 1935 in Whitefriars Lane, Coventry and moved to Whitefriars Street this year. The charity aims to offer young people between the ages of 7 and 18 years a safe and fun environment with both formal and structured sessions.  Paul spoke very enthusiastically of how the club was expanding compared with a  local authorities' organisations which had folded in Coventry due to lack of financial resources.  Many questions were asked.  Rotarian Brian Sharp gave a vote of thanks and President Philip presented a cheque to the charity wishing them every success in the future.  Photographs were taken by Rotarian Brian Sharp.
