Fundraising for Archie

Past President of Taunton Rotary Club Ian Ramus was honoured to represent the club at a visit to Reminiscence Learning in Wellington by HRH The Countess of Wessex. We love this ‘photo of Ian, pictured presenting a cheque for £1,500 to the Charity’s patron, Angela Rippon, alongside the Manager, Emma Green.
The donation by Taunton Rotary club will go towards the Archie Project, run by Reminiscence Learning at St. Andrew's Primary School, which aims to bring young and old together to combat dementia and raise awareness of this condition.

Cricket Fans support Rotary charities
more Cricket fans returned with gusto following months of 'cricket' isolation to watch our County Cricket team. £2,271 was raised for charity by those donating £5 or more to use the charity car park run by the Club and supported by Viridor.
Neroche Woodlanders
more £250 has been donated to the Neroche Woodlanders to help children stay in touch with nature. The donation forms part of the Club's efforts to support our community during the Coronavirus lockdown.
Rotary supports Taunton's Drug Busting Bus
more Motivated by local media reports of young lives being lost to drugs, members of Taunton Rotary have acted quickly to support the North Taunton Partnership ' Drug Bus' initiative aimed at educating young people on the impact of drug abuse.
