President Douglas Dow welcomed fourteen other members. and reported on the successful and well-attended Burns Night staged by the Helensburgh Garelochside club in the Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu, the previous Friday evening.
Highlights included music from talented young Cardross violinist Ryan Young, Burns contributions from Cardross Primary School pupils, and the Toast to the Lassies given by the Rev Ian Miller
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Henri van der Stighelen.
