Presentation of Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Misbourne Matins is proud to support the Chalfont St Giles Youth Club. On the 2nd June 2019 Chalfont St Giles Youth Club was named as one of the winners of the “Queens Award for Voluntary Service”, the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK to recognise exceptional service within their communities.
The Award was presented at the club on 24th October by Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire. Sue Jefferson, the Youth Club Leader, and all her volunteers and members, were delighted and proud to receive the Award.

The club gets all the members to be actively involved in all aspects of their club, including “Misunderstood” their community dance team. Everyone is welcome at this multicultural club, where kids who have grown up with the club are now in their twenties and are on the management committee and three are trustees.
