Supporting local and global charities

The Rotary motto of "service above self" means we support charitable work at home and abroad.

The Club has supported a wide variety of good causes over its 35 year history, including Rotary's own charity, the Rotary Foundation, which distributes funds to projects in many countries including here in Ireland. Its biggest endeavour has been to initiate the project to eliminate polio and then partner the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in working to achieve that objective which is now within a hairsbreadth of success.

The attached pages illustrate some of the charities which the Club has supported in recent times.
