Annual Quiz in aid of ORBIS

The 2019 annual quiz in October raised more than £1000 for ORBIS

ORBIS is a major international charity devoted to saving the sight of people in countries where there is a severe risk of eye infections which often result in blindness. Each country taking part is given one particular area to focus on and for ORBIS Ireland it is Ethiopia.

The annual quiz was a very enjoyable evening with 10 rounds of questions set and compered by Ronnie McClements. The quiz was organised by the Club's International Committee under the Chairmanship of Steve Blayney and the supper was kindly donated by a generous donor. The total collected was just over £1000.
