Supporting St Helens and Prescot Rotary Clubs in their meal packing event for RISE AGAINST HUNGER

On a wet and windy Sunday morning  Rotarians Phil Round and Ray Edwardson headed for Carmel College, St Helens to participate in the morning session of the Rotary Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Experience.

This event was organised jointly by Prescot and St Helens Rotary Clubs and was split into 2 x 2 hourly sessions.

By the end of the four hours a total of 62,000 meals had been packed involving 33 District Rotary Clubs, 9 corporate sponsors, and 22 sponsors of the one box initiative.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and very worthwhile. Many thanks to Prescot and St Helens Rotary club for organising the event and all those who were involved.
