Evening meeting - Scots entertainment

On Thursday 23rd January 2020 President Ewen Macdonald welcomed 18 Club Rotarians, 18 guests and 23 pupils from the 3 high schools to this our monthly evening meeting, which was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes. 

On reception, this week was Geoff Sampson with Iain Oates saying grace.

What a fabulous night with pupils from the 3 high schools performing for our Scottish night such talent! Thanks to all from the schools for entertaining and supporting this successful evening with a great meal prepared by Steph and excellent service from the staff. Well done to our Rotarian Wilna Roger for organising the event.

The Rotary vote of thanks was given by President Ewen Macdonald.

The annual Swimarathon fundraiser will take place on 1st March 2020 if you are interested in entering a team please contact us by PM on Facebook.

The main Rotary fundraiser being the Sportsman’s dinner takes place at the Gilvenbank Hotel on Friday 3rd April 2020 Tickets costing £30 with our speakers being Ex referee Stuart Dougal, Comedian Connor Burns and Compere Willie Allan MBE.

This coming week’s meeting on Thursday 30th January 2020 will be a lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel. please meet at 12.45pm for a 12.55pm start. This week our speaker will be Laurence Wood, Director Cabin Scotland Ltd speaking about constructional aid work on behalf of All Hands Volunteers and UN Migration.
