Turning Melton Purple!

With the other 2 Melton Clubs we have planted crocus bulbs for polio

In a joint venture with Rotarians from the Melton Mowbray & Melton Belvoir clubs we spent 2 very wet mornings planting thousands of purple crocus corms.

With permission from Melton Borough Council they were planted on the bank at Station Approach, so they may be enjoyed by both visitors & residents.

Hopefully the bank will be a sea of purple in the Spring, the symbol of the Rotary Purple for Polio campaign.
