We have donated £200 to support the work that this charity does.
Railway Children is an international charty working with children in India, East Africa and the UK. It fights to protect vulnerable children arriving alone in cities before abusers can get to them. It does this by training railway and station staff to identify these children, creating safe places for them to go to, and helping them either to return to their families or providing long term care. It works with communities to try to avoid the children needing to escape, which may be because of poverty or abuse. They use their knowledge to try to influence policy makers and planners. The club has donated £200 to support this charity.
