The Rotary Club of Senlac inducted a new member to the Club and the Rotary organisation at a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, 4th November. President Geoff Gander inducted Abul Azad, the managing director of the Shiplu restaurant in Bexhill and a former Mayor of Bexhill, and welcomed him into the Rotary organisation.

On becoming a member, Azad said, “I am so pleased to have joined Senlac Rotary as I believe it goes in line with the work I've been involved in with the community over the years. I enjoy networking and building relations with people, and encouraging them to get involved in various community projects, such as fundraising events. It's always a pleasure to support our community with different causes, and I aim to continue doing so by joining Rotary.”
