2 New Members & A Job Talk

Club members please log in for more information.

2 New Members Sandy Hamblyn & Nigel Ray joined the Club. We also learned more of the life of one of our newer members with a job talk. (Below).

Frances Truscott Job Talk

Frances started her job talk by telling us a little of her families history which was around journalism. As a child this gave her opportunities to travel the world including attending several Olympic Games.

Her initial degree was in English Literature but she soon went on to train in psychoanalysis and it was in this field that her career progressed. She underwent an extensive clinical training in the US and then worked in a variety of places including the East End where her job involved liaising with the police and child guidance authorities and sometimes involved a degree of hazard from people. Over her career she treated helped disturbed children but relaxed with her hobbies which included writing, fencing, poetry and singing.
