Tidelines Book Festival
Prestwick Rotary poetry night out at the HAC at the Tidelines Book Festival.
Prestwick Rotarians and guests attended a great evening of poetry reading at The Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine. The programme was organised by Tidelines.
It involved a number of invited poets including a great favourite - Tracy Harvey, raised in Auchinleck, delivering her poems in Scottish dialect.
An 'open mike' session, of 5 minutes each, was very popular and entertaining, with nearly ten poets taking part.
Thanks go to Lindsay Smith, for group booking such an enjoyable event.
