Community Chest Evening

Tue, Dec 10th 2019 at 6:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This week we invited guests and recipients of our Community Chest grants along to collect their cheques.

Receiving cheques from Haddington Rotary President Malcolm Collins were representatives from Haddington Rugby Club where the money will help install a defibrillator outside the clubhouse, Haddington Garden Trust for use in the Pleasance Garden, Artpoint Scotland to help create additional play maps and the Duke of Edinburgh team from Knox Academy.

The Community Chest fund was launched to provide assistance to local clubs and organisations with small projects which will benefit our community. A grant of £300 is made available for 10 months of the year.
Applications are invited from local clubs, associations and organisations who have small projects which have a benefit for our local community.
