Environmental issues are understandably high on the agenda of everyone, non more so than the youth of this country.

Rotary launched it's Young Environmentalist Competition this year for a first time, to give schools and it's pupils an opportunity to:

 - interact with the environment

 - address serious environmental issues

 - develop and explore solutions to the issues

 - explore, investigate, research and undertake an environmental sustainability project

We are so pleased to say that a team from Kinver High school wanted to get involved and put together a project focusing on how, by making just small changes, can bring huge benefits.

The club has now submitted the project to the Rotary District competition

Thanks and good luck to Anna, Evie, Beth and Lucy and we have attached details of their project

September 2020 :Congratulations from Kinver Rotary to  Anna, Evie, Beth and Lucy of Kinver High School who came third in the National finals of the Young Environmentalist Competition 2020

Due to COVID restrictions we currently are not  able to arrange a formal presentation but hope to have a photograph of the team and a brief as to how they put together their successful entry, as soon as it is considered safe to do so.
