Sophia's Chair

Presentation of £600 to Sophia's Appeal

The Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden was happy to support this worthy fundraiser for a Specialist Standing Wheelchair for Sophia.

Sophia is in a wheelchair, as she is unable to stand or walk, and needs constant care. This wheelchair will go from a sitting position to a standing position and enable Sophia better mobility. The cost of this very special wheelchair is £25,000, but she can use it for the next 10 to 15 years.

Sophia’s parents have been fundraising throughout the summer of 2019, and with our donation of £600 they finally reached their target, and was able to have the wheelchair for Christmas.
