Our pantomime causes as much mirth amongst the performers as in the audience!

Each year, with invaluable help from some of the Friends of Rotary, we stage a number of Road Shows- an evening of entertainment (some talent, much enthusiasm) at several of the local residential care homes.

A successful annual fundraiser for the Club involves the sale, and free delivery, of Christmas trees, in a variety of types and sizes. Overall, this involves quite a lot of man hours, but the service is widely appreciated in the Wantage area.

On Wednesday November 27th, Freya Jansens, a District 1090 Rotary Scholar from New South Wales, was a guest at our meeting. Wantage RC is acting as her host club.

2019-2020 Club Admin take care of the day to day running of the Rotary Club. We also make all the arrangements for such events as Meet the President, Club's Christmas Dinner, and the President's Farewell Dinner. We play a full part in fundraising.

The Membership Committee's remit is divided between a drive to recruit new members, and looking after the welfare of our existing members.

Wantage Foundation & International Committee looks after our efforts to help when natural disasters strike around the world. The committee further oversees a variety of international humanitarian projects to which we offer financial support.

We will be heavily involved in the running and funding of competitions for debating, photography and chess. We will sponsor 3 of the most promising sports people from King Alfred's Academy. We will sponsor 1 person for the Rotary Young Leaders Award.
