Rotary Fund Raising


Rotarians Phil Maye and Les Westlake receiving a cheque from President Mike Crocker of the Bridgwater Carnival Committee. The Rotary Club collected a total of £680 during Christmas Supermarket Collections that will go towards helping local children groups in Bridgwater. These include a Scout Group, a Children's Cinema Club, a new Youth Football Team and sponsoring a 'Kids Out' day at Crealy Park for the pupils of Penrose and Elmwood Schools.

Medical camp at Ndwaddemutwe Primary School

Bridgwater Rotarians part funded an ambitious three-year project including establishing a water well, refurbishing a school building, providing a library, latrines and water harvesting, as well as medical treatment centres.
