Clean Water in Ghana - Working with Ghana Outlook

We were pleased to support Ghana Outlook with a donation to allow the installation of a Aqua Filter in a village in Ghana

Working wih Ghana Outlook to provide Clean Water - February 2020

We were pleased to hear that Ghana Outlook have been able to install the Acquabox paid for by our Club donation.

The feed back and pictures from the team in Ghana says it all:

We went to Dulingou today. A very remote community of 1,100 in north Ghana. Felix a young student spoke of his and his community's concern about their water. The river bed is dry for at least four months and they dig scoop holes to find water. They regularly suffer severe bouts of sickness and diarrhoea  which can be fatal. Ghana Outlook with Northallerton Mowbray Rotary Club has provided an aqua filter box which cleans the water and makes it safe to drink. There was much delight when clean water became available. Our next job is to provide a water borehole.
