This was followed up with a Charity Quiz Night on 21st February when a full house at the Hadleigh Conservative had an enjoyable evening and raised £649 for CAVS.
Our guest of honour for the evening was the Mayor of Castlepoint Cllr Colin Riley who hosted a table of his fellow Mayors and friends. He said
"... all of the credit for the quiz night fund raising must go to Peter and his Rotary club.... We must continue to support our special partners like CAVS, who provide the special guidance our residents need, outside of the daily services our councils regularly provide."
Janis Gibson CEO of CAVS said afterwards
"I thought the evening was good fun and having the room so packed out was astounding. ad you will know, CAVS spend every penny wisely and the £649 raised will go towards supporting those much in need and vulnerable. As they say, every little helps and most certainly this fund raising event will assist us greatly this year"
