Youth Speaks

The competition, which aims to foster public speaking and confidence skills for young people, is part of a national initiative which has been supported by Falmouth Rotary for over ten years.

March 2022

Peter Scott thanked Rotarians who were involved in the Youth Speaks competition which was held on March 30th 2022. There were 4 teams -- Mawnan School, Falmouth Primary, Flushing and Constantine. Mawnan won with the title with "How much do your hands speak for you?". Other subjects included "Should palm oil products be banned?" and "plastic in our oceans". Peter Scott said that the presentations were all excellent.

In 2018 President Paul Wyatt presented the prizes for the Youth Speaks competition
