COVID-19 Fund Raising
You can help us by donating funds, however small so we can carry on our good works.
In these difficult times for all of us, how would you feel if you were ill, vulnerable, housebound and with few family and friends to help you?
Not a pleasant situation to be in but many in our Community are. Dartmouth Rotary, along with other charities in the area, is doing its best to help. You can help us by donating funds, however small so we can carry on our good works.
Who are we? Dartmouth Rotary is a Charitable Trust, part of the global Rotary organisation, and all run by volunteers. Our guiding principle is “Service above Self” and our goal is to help those who cannot, for whatever reason, help themselves. But this appeal is specifically for those in our immediate community. We normally fundraise by holding our own events but are unable to do this, so are appealing for funds to the general community.
We do not just give money but support our Community through service as well so whatever donation you can give will be effectively applied to those that need it most.
You might ask where our money goes. Here are some of the projects we have been involved in during the Covid 19 pandemic.
- Donated funds to the Community Chest who are providing meals to the vulnerable
- Contributed funds to Dartmouth Food Bank
- Funded, resourced, and delivered “Help Packs of essential supplies, to the vulnerable around Dartmouth and surrounding villages.
- Donated funds to Flavel Pantry
Every penny you donate will help these and other deserving causes. Thanks for all those that have donated so far and please help if you can.
