President Elects Training Seminar (PETS) - Zoom Webinar

Training seminar for all incoming club presidents for Rotary year 2020-2021. This session will be held as a Zoom webinar


PETS will be held online using a Zoom Webinar. 

Note that this event is for incoming club presidents only

It is necessary to pre-register for this webinar and you should have already received an email from the District Secretary with the registration link. You can also access the registration link via the District Members Only Pages. You will need to be logged in to access these pages. 

To find the registration pages goto the District Home Page and log in to the members area

Once Logged in goto District Members Only Pages and you will see the Zoom Registration Pages in the list. Select this menu item and you will find all the event regisitration pages listed


Select the registration page for PETS - 30th May 2020 and click on the zoom registraion link. You will be taken to the Zoom registration page for this webinar. Please complete all the boxes and click the blue 'Register' button. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Follow-up Meetings

Immediately after the main plenary webinar session, each AG will be holding separate meetings with the president elects in their area. Your AG should already have advised you of the Zoom meeting details for these AG meetings.

During the following week other meetings will be held covering specfic topics

Mon 1st June 19.00 - Managing Difficulties

Tue 2nd June 19.00 - Foundation

Wed 3rd June 19.00 - Youth

Thu 4th June 19.00 - International 

Fri 5th June 18.00 - Public Image and Membership

Bob Page, Karl Lansley and Loretta Andrews present the first of 4 Defibrillators already installed along Southend Seafront in Phase 1 of project SEEDIP. Phase 2 will commence in 2021.

The Chairman of Rochford District Council Cllr Julie Gooding and the Mayor of Southend on Sea Cllr Margaret Borton officiated at the start of the 2021 Foulness Bike Ride.

On the 12th September 2021 over 1000 people enjoyed the wonderful island of Foulness by being part of Thorpe Bay Rotary's annual Bike Ride.
