Most of the club members will remember our son, Christopher. The wee boy who always had a jar of tadpoles or a baby bird or a slippery frog in his hand. He has been a qualified vet for over ten years now and is living and working in Bendigo in Australia. He was approached by a Television Company about a year ago to ask if he would be willing to be involved in the making of a British TV series about the life of a young Scottish vet in Australia. With his former University flatmate and great friend, Mike Whiteford – also a Scottish vet in Bendigo – they completed filming last Autumn. The result is a twelve part series called “Scottish Vets Down Under” which is to be screened on the BBC Scotland channel at 8.00pm on a Monday evening (repeated on a Wednesday) starting next week, 25th May. Just in case anyone is interested in tuning in and watching.
