Waverley-wide Covid-19 Support Fund and Job Club

To help those in need as a consequence of the Covid-19 Pandemic the Godalming Rotary Clubs have launched a dedicated Support Fund

We have launched a fund to support those in the Waverley Borough Council area who are suffering hardship as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Further details can be found at the dedicated website at https://www.rotaryc19fund.org/

Enquiries can be made to the dedicated email address at rotaryc19fund@gmail.com

Together with Godalming Rotary Club, we have also set up a Job Club to support those who may be looking for work, most likely as a result of the pandemic.  The Club offers independent, practical guidance and support on:

  • Understanding what your strengths are
  • Setting yourself a goal and making a plan
  • Where to look for jobs
  • Filling in an application form
  • Creating a C.V. and preparing the right covering letter
  • Getting ready for an interview
  • How to build your confidence
  • Coping with rejection
  • Staying motivated
