"Biobanking Samples for COVID-19 Research" presented by Dr Sarah McDonald, Biobank Manager at the MRC-University of Glasgow Virus Research (CVR)


Dr Sarah McDonald is the Biobank Manager at the MRC-University of Glasgow Virus Research (CVR) and since early 2021 has worked on establishing the Scottish Outbreak Lab for ISARIC 4C, a consortium studying COVID-19.  Prior to that she established and managed the HCV Research UK biobank also at the CVR.   Born and raised in Dumfries, Sarah attended Lochside Primary and Maxwelltown High and went on to study Developmental Biology at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a PhD and a further 4 years working at the Centre for Reproductive Health, also at the University of Edinburgh, prior to moving to Glasgow to take up her current post.
