Because of the Coronavirus pandemic it was not possible to hold a handover ceremony in the normal way. We therefore arranged a socially distanced event in the garden of the incoming President.
A small group comprising the outgoing President David Mills and his wife Ella, the incoming President Derek Stringer and his wife Pat and new President elect Phil Davies and his wife Elaine enjoyed a sunny hour in the garden, some very well chosen words by all those involved and the proceedings were recorded by apprentice cameraman Richard High whose fingers would not stay clear of the lens. Click on the links below for all the action.
1. Handover part 1 Derek sets the scene (about 1 minute)
2. Handover part 2 The main handover ceremony (about 12 minutes)
3. Handover part 3 Ella hands over to Pat (about 2 minutes)
