Castleton Virtual Camp

This year should have been the 100th anniversary of the camps - the longest running Rotary service project in the world!

Castleton Virtual Children's Camps

This year should have been the 100th anniversary of this project.  However, the current restrictions around the Covid pandemic means we can't provide holidays for needy children from across the city.

Probably more than ever in recent times, these children are in need of some support and fun.  So we are organising a 'Virtual Camp' - a series if 24 camp style activities for the children to complete at home.  These range from eating an ice-cream to building a cave system to crawl through.

We are asking parents/carers to take pictures of their children completing the activities and post them on our Club's Facebook page.  Every child completing all the tasks will receive a special certificate and will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win a special treat for their family.

No to be outdone by the children, some of the Rotarians and helpers who run the usual camps will be completing the tasks and posting their pictures too!
