Tablet donated to Bassett House Care Home

14th July 2020: 'Wage War on Covid' Tablet Giveaway

Rotary Club President Richard Everitt outside Bassett House with Care Home Manager Jackie and Activities Coordinator Jackie

A contact of fellow Rotarian and Club member Phil Tanner has recently held a "Wage War on Covid" campaign, where one of the main initiatives has been to supply free Huawei Tablets to care homes and hospitals. This is so residents and patients can see and speak to loved ones who cannot visit them during lockdown. Phil took the opportunity to nominate Bassett House Care Home for one of these free Tablets, and his nomination was successful.

Rotary President Richard Everitt is seen here having presented the Tablet to the Home's Activities Co-ordinator, Jackie Sheen, on the right. Also in the picture is the Manager of the Home, Jackie Moss.
