"Rollover" meeting and frugal lunch to start the new year

Wed, Jun 30th 2021 at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Instead of a handover we "rollovered" last year's team to the current year at Kim and Sheila's home

After the past year, where we achieved a lot ( under the circumstances ) but did not have much face to face time with our Rotary mates, it was agreed that the team from 2020-21 would remain in place for 2021-22.

As President Margaret said in her welcome speech at least there was a chance of her having a President's night this year! That has been booked for the Stagg Inn, at Titley, for September 29th all being well....

The afternoon was relaxed and informal with hosts Kim and Sheila Smith making us very welcome in their delightful garden. The lunch of lasagne was prepared by Sheila, the salad by a few Rotary members and the cheesecake prepared by Angela Ellis.

All money raised during the raffle and from the drinks will go to our charitable efforts in the community. You will be able to read more about our charity work during the last Rotary year very soon......
