A visit to the Wildwood Vineyard

Sat, Aug 8th 2020 at 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Visit to the vineyard, wine tasting and picnic (take your own).

Visit to Wildwood Vineyard 8th August at 12.30pm

Members may recall the talk given to us by Paul Olding, at Chislehurst Golf Club, about his Urban Vineyard.  Now he has moved on to create Wildwood Vineyard, some 5 miles South of Tunbridge Wells.
A couple of Saturdays ago Diana and I went there to pick up my “Founders” second year bottle.  We had a very informative and interesting tour of the vineyard and tasting afterwards.
I believe members would really enjoy a visit there.

• The private Tour and Tasting would cost £8.50 per head.  (We need 10 people to make it a “private visit”)

• We are welcome to take a picnic.

• Depending on numbers Paul can provide seats and socially distanced tables.

• See their website www.wildwoodvineyard.co.uk

• Social distancing is not a problem.

• There is a toilet.

• If the weather forecast does not look good on the day before we can postpone.

• Backup date is 15th August in case of bad weather on 8th August.

==> Please let me know as soon as possible if you, and your partner, would like to join the visit.

Hope you can make it.

Adrian
