Bradford City Hall Visit

We were hosted in the beautiful Mayor's reception Rooms and enjoyed a fabulous elegant full Afternoon Tea served on fine china. Then we had a great detailed tour given by Richard Lee-Van den Daele Lord Mayor's Secretary (Diary).

We visited the banqueting Hall, Council Chamber, Civic Staircase, Lord Mayor & Lady Mayoress Rooms & the marvellous displays of Silver plus the old Law Courts.

Both Clubs travelled by Train from Ilkley and this was a really splendid afternoon out in our Borough community City. The architecture in Bradford is quite something really and architects Lockwood & Mawson plus Norman Shaw who designed St Margaret's Church Ilkley were involved in the City Hall which resulted in a very spectacular building well worth visiting.
