A foot tapping start to the new Rotary Year
Rotary Jazz Brunch
The start of the New Rotary year in Ilkley began with The Annual Jazz Brunch held at Ilkley Rugby Club, 85 guests munched to music by the Jazz trio Swingplicity.
New Ilkley President David Shaw M.B.E. gave a short speech of welcome. He welcomed The Deputy Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Bradford, Martin & Katie Smith.
This was followed by a Gandhi inspired grace as David Shaw's grandfather was from India. David's mother Pratima was also in attendance

Rotary Collection for victims for Cyclone Ida!
Rotary in Ilkley collected to help the victims of the cyclone disaster in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe by kind permission of Tesco's Ilkley.
The collection will go to Rotary partner Shelter Box to assist direct on the ground support.
