Picking Litter in Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St Peter and Chalfont St Giles

Rotarians picking Litter in local town and villages

For our next date of litter picking please contact our secretary.

19 June 2021
Saturday afternoon and the rain held off for long enough for our stalwart litter pickers to go out in force and collect many bags of litter from the Common in Gerrards Cross. Many people commented on what a good job they were doing and thanked them for what they were doing. If you see us out there in Gerrards Cross or Chalfont St Peter, do stop and have a chat.  Also let us know of any areas you think are a problem, we can focus on those another time.

5 June 2021
The area around Chalfont community centre, the playground and Gravel Hill are a lot cleaner after the hard work and effort of the stalwart team of Misbourne Matins’ Rotary Club litter pickers on 5 June 2021. Not so much a chore out in the sunshine. Over five bags of rubbish were collected. Well done Gail Judy Helen Kate  and John.

Some club members meet on Gerrards Cross Common, Chalfont St Peter and Chalfont St Giles for Litter Picking. Litter pickers and bin bags are provided and members bring there own gloves and high-viz tabard. Since August 2020, we have been cleaning up the town and villages and, sad to say, there is still plenty litter to pick up.
