It has been decided to hold meetings by Video Conference until at least the end of September.
For this meeting Atif has organised for Mr Asim to speak to us from Lahore by Zoom.


MOHAMMAD ASIM

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR (PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION)

Mr. Mohammad Asim is a Chief Instructor of Civil Services Academy, Walton, Lahore in BPS-20 since 2016, and is currently holding Training and Administrative assignments. He has also served Director of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Campus, Lahore. He is regular visiting Lecturer to NIM Lahore and Islamabad to deliver lectures and carry discourses on Negotiation & Conflict Management and Leadership skills for MCMC and SMC programs.  Mr. Asim has more than 27 years of Teaching, Training and Corporate experience both locally and at International level in Asia, Europe and North America. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from USA followed by number of Training courses from abroad. Strategic Management, Business Policy and Public Administration are his forte. Mr. Asim has also worked as Training Deputy Chief in Sui Northern Gas pipeline Limited (SNGPL) where he has trained more than 2000 employees in Soft Skills. He has conducted trainings on Time and Stress Management, Customer Services, Personal Effectiveness, Team work, Leadership, Sports for Life Modelling, Communication and Negotiation skills, and Conflict Management.   He has also worked as Faculty member in University of Central Punjab (UCP), Government College University (GCU), The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) and University of Management and Technology (UMT) and has conducted numerous workshops for both public and Private Institutions world over.  He has been member of Curriculum committee of GCU and UCP for designing courses of both BBA and MBA program.

Mr. Asim is also a writer and an International Author. He has published a book on Amazon named “The Commandments of Sports: Divinity in Playing Field”.  He also wrote FOREWORD of the Book on Evolution of Pakistan Air force named “The First Kill 1959 & Beyond” also published Internationally. Further, he contributes in local newspapers, magazines and international blogs on variety of social, academic, management and business related issues.  He has a keen interest in Sports including Swimming, Basketball. He is a Martial Arts player and holds International membership and certification from Temple Kung, Canada and Shaolin Temple, China. Besides he has worked as volunteer for Oxfam Canada and also carries certification for YMCA lifesaving swimming lessons.  He is a contributing writer for FIFA and Pakistan Today Sports section.
