Past President John Kilby attened QV School on Thursday evening for the elections of Interact officers for ther year. Here is his brief report:
There were eight applicants who wished to be involved in the running of the club.
All were a pleasure to talk with and their views on what they would like to do made it fairly
easy to allocate their positions.
All felt that being part of Interact had been a benefit in that they had gained self confidence, discovered that they enjoyed helping out in the community especially with the senior citizens, and of course the fellowship.
They are missing their community activities,meeting with Rotarians and are sad that there will be no winter treat this year.
There was a suggestion that they could do a concert and put it out via perhaps DVD, YouTube,or Zoom.
Great idea if it can be made to work.
