School Dictionary's

For many years the club has donated special dictionaries to local schools

Rotarian Jenny Owen has confirmed that she has delivered our Dictionary's and Watch Out Leaflets to Wooburn Primary School. The Dictionary's have all been inscibed with the childrens names in with a sticker which informed them that our Rotary Club were the donators. The Head Master was unfortunately unable to be present as he was otherwise occupied with the Great Learners Trust who are supporting the school in their endeavours to rise out of special measures. Hopefully the dictionaries will help towards thatr attainment.

Head of School Adrian Cotter has sent us a thank you on behalf of the staff and pupils for their kind donation and confirmed that the children would use the dictionaries to support their writing accross the curriculum, both in school work and for homework tasks. The Keeping Safe Books will help children focus thoughts and discussions to support their PHSE lessons on looking after themselves, the people around them and their environment. He confirmed that the Wooburn Green Primary School continues to go from strength to strength and all the children have shown resilience in dealing with all the complications that the Covid situation has thrown their way.

Also shown here are some of the childrens work from the corridor wall displays.
