District Training

This page will feature all upcoming training courses, seminars, etc which are designed to help you in your Rotary work

Hello Everybody,

I'm sure that, over the past two years or so you've all become masters of Zoom but at last we're able to start meeting in person again. As the optimist would say there are no such things as problems just opportunities and whilst we've been unable to meet each other Rotary Learning has been fulfilling the Rotary Opens Opportunies mandate by providing a range of useful online courses ....Lockdown Learning!

In the spirit of belt and braces would you please continue to circulate it to your members who may find a course or two a useful way of filling time that would otherwise have been spent on a cold wet street shaking buckets at passers by.

I look forward to meeting and working with many of you in the coming months.

Yours in Rotary

Gary Adams                       District Leadership and Development Support.

(The principal motto of Rotary International) Service to the Community Service to the World

The Rotary Club of Poole supports many of the charitable organisations in our area.

Working through schools, Poole Hospital and a wide range of local charities we aim to support local children and young people, especially the sick and disadvantaged, by organising competitions, providing equipment and making financial grants.

Poole Rotary helps a number of overseas projects each year.

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International was created in 1917 to "do good in the world." Through the Foundation, Rotarians sponsor international educational and humanitarian programs, investing some £230 million annually.

A group of our lovely Friends with their membership certificates.

Our Friends are persons who have been closely associated with the Club in the past but are no longer members or are widow(er)s of passed members. Friends support us where they can and are always invited to our social events.

We are proud of our many Business Partners and grateful for their practical support of our projects and their contribution towards our fund-raising. Several have joined us as full members of the Club.

Kiel-Eider (Germany) and Loches (France) are our twins. We visit, and are visited by, each of them on a four-year cycle.
