Wreath Laying at the War Memorial

This year due to the social distance restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the annual remembrance laying of wreaths at the war memorial on Remembrance Sunday was not able to take place.

The Town Council asked that those organisations who would normally partake in the commemoration by laying a wreath at the war memorial did so individually in the week before Remembrance Sunday.  Thus, on 4th November, in remembrance of those who gave up their lives for their country, President Martin McGill laid a wreath on the memorial on behalf of Seaford Rotary.
