After months of soul searching and discussion the Rotarians of
Carshalton Park have decided to cancel all our plans for physical Christmas collections. As you can imagine this decision was not taken lightly but on the advice of the Police and Rotary International Great Britain and Ireland.
Walking with Santa and his musical house around the roads of Carshalton and Wallington is the highlight of our year. Every evening for three weeks from early December, Santa brings joy to adults and children alike but their smiles and dancing will be sorely missed this year.
Of course the donations we usually collect to support Local Charities will also be missed. These small charities have had a miserable time during this year of the Coronavirus pandemic.
