The Rotary Club of Athlone’s Annual Tree of Remembrance.

This year the Rotary Club of Athlone Christmas Appeal is raising much needed funds for Esker House Women’s Refuge and Mental Health Ireland and Rotary Charities.  The effects of COVID have considerably reduced charitable donations and unfortunately this year we can’t offer the personalised yellow remembrance ribbons to hang on the Tree of Remembrance in the Civic Square.

We are however offering two ways in which to support these worthy charities.  Firstly you can follow this LINK to the Rotary Club of Athlone, Go Fund Me Page and make a donation.

Alternatively yellow ribbons will be available in selected outlets from 7th December.  You can make a donation and take a yellow ribbon to remember family and friends who will not be with you this Christmas and place it on your own Christmas tree or in your window.

See below for a list of locations where you can find the ribbons.
