Foundation fundraising evening

Mon, Nov 30th 2020 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

It's St Andrew's Day so what better day for club members to have a talk and quiz about alcohol!?

 Dear Club members,

As the usual Foundation Lunch had to be abandoned because of Covid restrictions the Foundation & International Committee have been left with several bottles of wine in store instead of being used for the event.  We would like to raise funds for Foundation by inviting you to purchase a virtual ticket for our Liquor Label Quiz.  We will be giving a bottle of wine with each ticket bought by a Mildmay member, ( we are sorry, but it is only one bottle per member!)

The Quiz will be held at 7p.m. on Monday 30th November via Zoom.

£15 will ensure that you get an envelope containing a Quiz sheet.  The bottle of wine and envelope will be delivered to your doorstep before the 30th November.  Please refrain from opening the envelope until two hours before the Zoom meeting.

If partners and anyone other than Mildmay Rotary members would like to enter the cost will be £5 for the quiz sheet (and any further donations would be welcomed!)

Roger Spall will give an entertaining and informative talk on Alcohol and its oriGINS (you recognise his format?) while you are enjoying a glass of any suitable beverage.

Please send your money by BACS to the Charity Account; Barclays, 20-19-95, 40796972.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible,

Kind regards,

John Bucknell
