Songs of Praise

The Community Songs of Praise Concert has been running for the past 5 years in St Edmund's Church, Shipston.  It is held on the Sunday of the town’s Wool Fair weekend, which celebrates the historical wool industry on which the wealth Shipston (or Sheep’s’ Town) is based.   The concert is usually attended by around 100 people - who have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music, song and poetry.

Shipston community groups are invited to choose a favourite hymn or song  or read a poem. Musical  items are performed by students from Shipston High School, local musicians and our own Rotary Singers.   The afternoon concluding with tea and homemade cakes.

If you want to be involved with Rotary and contribute to our very worthwhile causes and programmes as well as providing much needed support, please contact:
